-----
This date/time is a bit of a moving target. If you are able to log into the eTrainer System, then rest assured your progress, enrollments and data are being logged. We will be maintaining and updating this notification popup until this next stage of supply chain realignment is complete.
We deeply apologise for this rare lengthy maintenance activity. Given the US tariffs and attacks to our Canadian sovereignty by our American neighbours; OETC Inc. is taking steps to realign all business contracts and workflow away from any and all USA infrastructure and services.
Presently our server infrastructure is housed in Data Centres in Los Angeles, California and twinned in Huston, Texas, USA. This puts our eTraining System and webserver infrastructure, along with your data and training records at risk from US lawlessness and legal changes. It also helps to fund a US economy that is economically targeting our country. While we maintain nightly backups in our Hamilton, Ontario office, housing our infrastructure in the USA no longer makes security or financial sense.
This current maintenance shut down is the final step in migrating our server infrastructure from the USA to Data Centres in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. The lower prices we pay for a USA centric supply chain is no longer worth the risk. We must stand up for Canada and do our part.
We still have more changes to execute; however, once complete, every nickel spent on OETC training, will remain in Canada exclusively, supporting Canadian jobs, know-how and innovation. All while increasing our green objectives and reducing our carbon footprint even more.

We apologies for any inconvenience, and will provide updates as we progress through this difficult but necessary transition.
